How Much Does It Hurt?
It’s hard to make a generalization, but most of these tattoos aren’t ones that I would bet on being super painful. Most of these are pretty minimal which are easy.
More thick lined and detailed tattoos tend to be the more painful ones and thankfully there’s a lot of space between these racket lines!
If you place it somewhere tender or if you have a low pain tolerance, you might find them to be not particularly enjoyable, but overall they should be simple ones to sit through.
Can I Play Tennis With A New Tattoo?
It depends on how big and where it is, if you have a really large and detailed piece it’s best not to sweat in it. But if you’ve got something pretty small and simple, I would personally go ahead and play.
Always go based on what your artist tells you and recommends.
Tennis is a pretty specific passion, but so many people are into it. If you’re wandering around town with a tennis tattoo you might just find another group that loves it just as much as you do!

Getting the fun and quirky little things about yourself as tattoos is what body art is all about in my book. Something as simple as a racket to represent something that makes you happy and enjoy life is the perfect tattoo idea.
