55 Minimalist Tattoo Ideas You’ll Love – From Elegant Fine Line Ink to Tiny Pet Tattoos
Inside: 55 minimalist tattoo ideas to get the perfect fineline or small tattoo of your pet, your favorite flower, or maybe even a sword.
This is my favorite tattoo category, as basic as it may be. I love a minimalist tattoo, especially when there’s creativity and design involved to make it cool but keep the minimalism. If you feel the same way I do, then this post is for you!

How Much Do Minimalist Tattoos Hurt?
The best news is that minimalist tattoos hurt the least. Location and thickness are still factors, and your tattoo artist might have something to do with it too, but overall, you’re looking at a pretty low stake tattoo.
All of mine are quite small and fine lines, so in theory they’re pretty painless as far as tattoos go. However, the catch is that they’re all on my hands… This is where location plays a part in creating a tough tattoo experience.
The back of my hands has thin skin and it’s pretty bony. These are the two features of a painful spot to tattoo, so for me, while they definitely hurt less than a realistic piece, they were pretty tough to sit through for a minute there.
