Who Are The Characters In Super Mario Brothers?

If you’re not too familiar with the games or the characters, here’s a quick run down.

First and foremost, you obviously have Mario and his brother Luigi, the two main characters. They’re on a constant mission to save their princesses, Peach and Daisy, from the different villains. And there are many villains.

There are friends they make along the way like Toad, Toadette, Yoshi, Dry Bones, Diddy Kong, and more.

Maybe you grew up with more of a Mario Kart kind of childhood instead of the classic game, and if that’s the case, you know each of these characters well if you managed to unlock them all!

Pick your favorite and get tattooing!

How Much Will It Hurt?

While this is such a vague tattoo to narrow down how much it’s going to hurt, I would say that this one is going to be more so on the painful side with the detailing and coloring that is in most of these pieces.

The more detail, usually the more uncomfortable it’s going to be, and so assuming you’re getting a pretty decent portrait of the beloved video game character, it’s going to be a more painful one.

Your pain tolerance will play a big role in it too, if you can tolerate pain better than I can, you will likely have an easier time. I tend to be on the pansy side of things.

Creating tattoo art out of icons that were such a huge part of our childhood is such a fun way to honor your life and where you’ve been with the art that’s going to be on your body forever.

As we get older, making space for some of these things can become really fun. Especially for those in our lives that don’t love tattoos or don’t love the edginess of them (like my mother, for instance) and would love to see something fun and childlike in the mix.

Whether you were Mario or Luigi, player one or player two, I hope you found the perfect Super Mario tattoo idea to show your love of the past and of gaming.
