Panda Tattoo Symbolisms

Panda tattoos have been gaining popularity among tattoo enthusiasts in recent years due to their unique symbolism and striking appearance. The black and white design of a panda tattoo can represent a variety of meanings, such as peace, harmony, and tranquillity.  Additionally, these tattoos can be created in a variety of styles, from realistic portraits to cute cartoon depictions.

According to this article,

“In addition to being a symbol of peace, the panda is also seen as a protector of the weak or vulnerable. If the panda is your spirit animal, you won’t stand for other people or animals being mistreated. Pandas are also seen as a symbol of grounding and stability. If you have been feeling scattered or unmoored lately, spending time with your panda spirit animal can help you feel more centered and connected to the world around you.”

If you believe that your spirit animal is the Panda, you are one awesome person! I could use more Panda People in my life. I think if you resonate with any of the things that a panda represents, then you should totally get a panda tattoo. The thing about tattoos, though, is that you don’t actually need a reason to get one.

Sure, I do believe that tattoos that have meaning are super awesome, but I also think that tattoos, in general, are awesome. Why hold yourself back just because you think you need a better reason to get one? You want one, and that is enough!

How Much Does A Panda Design Hurt?

If you are planning on getting a panda tattoo as your first…you are in for an extra painful surprise. Panda tattoos are the MOST PAINFU-Just kidding. There is no way that a panda tattoo is more painful than other tattoos just simply based on its content and theme.

What really decides how painful a tattoo will be is where it is placed and whether or not that place is closer to your bones. That might seem like a random requirement, but the areas in our bodies that have bones close to the surface tend to be more painful because they hold more nerve endings in those spots.

So if pain is something that you are worried about, you should get a tattoo in a meatier spot, such as your thighs or upper arms. But at the end of the day, if you are set on a spot that IS close to your bonier spots, you can always alleviate your pain with numbing creams!

Panda Tattoo Cost

Panda tattoos can cost anywhere from $50 to $5000 depending on several different choices you make, including how big you get it, how detailed, and what artist you choose.

As a rule of thumb, you can assume that the longer a tattoo takes to be done, the more it will cost. If you have a tight budget, you can work with your tattoo artist to come up with a great tattoo that is within your price range. I always try and urge people to factor in the tip. That’s right; tattoo artists deserve tips as much as your barista does(as a part-time barista myself, please remember to tip your coffee makers).

You can always save up for a larger or more detailed tattoo if that is what you are set on. After all, this tattoo will be on you forever; what is the rush?
